1. In April of 2022 the Solid Waste
Division initiated emergency
Burrtec services on six solid waste
residential routes
2. June 28, 2022 the Public Works Solid
Waste Division provided an update
regarding hiring, vacancies and
the state of equipment in the
Division.

4 BACKGROUNDEFFICACY OF EMPLOYED STRATEGIES
1. A 400% increase in candidate pool
after implementing hiring bonus
2. Ten total vacancies, with seven
prospective employees in the pre-
employment process
3. Significant reduction in resignations
& transfers out (only one since
implementing new measures)

1. Staff anticipates a complete
draw-down of Burrtec emergency
services by January 2023
2. Burrtec assistance will be reduced
as new staff come on board

Burrtec Waste Industries, Inc.
