PRESENT: Chair Hemenway, Vice Chair Cervantes, and Member Fierro ABSENT: None
STAFF PRESENT: Kris Martinez, Edward Enriquez, Anthony Beaumon, Lee Withers, Todd Corbin, Michael Plinski, Ryan Carter, and Christiana Kalawa ALSO PRESENT: Steve Larson, Ryan Gallagher, and Heather Dyer Chair Hemenway convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
RIVERSIDE TRANSMISSION RELIABILITY PROJECT CONSULTANT UPDATE Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Hemenway and seconded by Vice Chair Cervantes to recommend that the City Council propose a resolution with the 5-step process to modify the existing California Public Utilities Commission and Federal Electric Regulatory Commission approvals as outlined in the consultant update of the staff report for the Riverside Transmission Reliability Project. The motion carried unanimously.
JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT - UPPER SANTA ANA RIVER WATERSHED Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Hemenway and seconded by Vice Chair Cervantes to direct staff to return to the Committee with information regarding liability, debt portfolio, and decision-making authority of the Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement.
The motion carried unanimously.
FISCAL YEAR 2021-22 SELF-INSURANCE TRUST FUNDS ANNUAL FINANCIAL REVIEW This item was continued to a future Financial Performance and Budget meeting.
