Chair Plascencia convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE
There were no oral comments received at this time.
RIVERSIDE ACCELERATING CLEAN ENERGY (RACE) BY 2040 STUDY Following discussion, it was moved by Vice Chair Fierro and seconded by Member Edwards to recommend that the City Council approve the Funds-in Agreement - Nonfederal Sponsor for the development of the Riverside Accelerating Clean Energy by 2040 (RACE/2040) Study with the United States Department of Energy facility contractor, Alliance for Sustainable Energy, LLC, manager and operator of the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, for a two-year period in the amount of $8,182,790 plus ten percent change order authority of $818,310, for total not-to-exceed amount of $9,001,100, and authorization of a supplemental appropriation. The motion carried unanimously.
IEMPORARY AND LONG-TERM OUTDOOR DINING PROGRAMS UPDATE
Temporary and Long-Term Outdoor dining programs update was continued to a future Land Use, Sustainability, and Resilience Committee meeting.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION
There were no items requested for consideration at a future meeting.
