NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Riverside will conduct a virtual and in-person public hearing to consider the adoption of a Resolution making express findings to support local amendments, Building and Fire Ordinances adopting by reference the 2022 Edition of the California Code of Regulations, Title 24 - the California Building Standards Code with local amendments, and amendments to the Riverside Municipal Code Title 9 - Chapter 9.48 - Unified Hazardous Materials Program and Title 16 - Chapter
16.36 - Public Safety Radio Amplification Systems.
The State of California adopts a set of new construction codes every three years. The purpose of this public hearing is to adopt those codes by reference, which automatically become effective January 1, 2023, with certain administrative and technical amendments based on local conditions.
The Public Hearing will be held by the City Council on the following date:

If you challenge the above proposed action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Clerk of the City of Riverside at, or prior to, the public hearing. Comments can be presented in person in the Art Pick Council Chamber during the public hearing.
