City of Riverside
DistrictR COI Summary
As of: 10/31/2022

ID 139474
8/30/22

The neighborhoods of Canyon Crest, University,
Sycamore Highlands, Mission Grove, and Orangecrest
are similar in their demographics and socioeconomics.

Their wants/needs are similar and one
councilmember should represent all. In the current
Ward 2, the needs/wants of the East Side and
University corridor are different than those for
Canyon Crest and should be represented as such.

Arlanza COI / Neighborhood
ID 141773
9/22/22

The current ward map divides Arlanza amongst ward 6 & 7. It would be best if the new maps allow Arlanza residents to remain in the same ward. The main boundaries are Van Buren to the East, California to the South, the river to the North and some of Tyler to the West.

Arlington Ave shouldn't divide the neighborhood.

South rural Riverside
ID 141787
9/22/22

This area is dominated by
custom homes on large lots, and
includes a lot of the green belt. I
think it doesn't make sense for
the area to be split amongst 3
wards when these rich
homeowners don't have a lot in
common with the apartment
renters & tract homes that are in
other parts of ward 4, 3, and 5.

Victoria Woods Neighborhood
ID: 148318
10/30/22
This is the larger area, it is
broken down into areas that
are more walkable depending
on what side of
Central/Alessandro you live on.

Northside
ID: 150240
11/7/22

Northside, as defined since
1912, except southern
edge should be 1st St. and
the Springbrook Wash
through Fairmount Park.
