A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21052 AND THE MASTER FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY PLAN TO APPROVE THE SALARY ADJUSTMENT AND BARGAINING UNIT CHANGE TO THE ARTS & CULTURE MANAGER; ADJUSTMENTS TO THE SALARY RANGES TO THE SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS TECHNICIAN, BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST CLASSIFICATIONS; CREATION OF THE CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGES FOR THE REAL PROPERTY SERVICES OFFICER AND WASTEWATER ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN I; DELETION OF THE EXISTING INSTRUMENT TECHNICIAN CLASSIFICATION; AND APPROVE THE ADDITION TO THE FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY PLAN, SECTION 5(E).
WHEREAS, on October 4, 2005, Resolution No. 21052 was adopted by the City Council thereby adopting the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan (“FBSP”); and WHEREAS, the FBSP includes the fringe benefits and salary plans for City employees; and WHEREAS, the FBSP has been amended several times to update the benefits and salaries; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the adjustment to the salary range and bargaining unit change to the Arts & Culture Manager; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the adjustments to the salary ranges to the Senior Business Systems Technician, Business Systems Analyst, and Senior Business Systems Analyst classifications; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the creation of the classifications and salary ranges for the Real Property Services Officer and Wastewater Electrical & Instrument Technician I; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the deletion of the existing Instrument Technician classification; and WHEREAS, the FBSP, Section 5(E), Salary Differentials, needs to be revised to reflect the addition of the Chief Pilot Assignment Pay.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows:
Section 1: Resolution No. 21052 and the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan are hereby amended to 1) approve the adjustment to the salary range and bargaining unit change to the Arts & Culture Manager; 2) approve the adjustments to the salary ranges for the Senior Business Systems Technician, Business Systems Analyst, and Senior Business Systems Analyst classifications; 3) approve the deletion of the existing Instrument Technician classification, all as set forth in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference; and 4) approve the addition to Section 5(E), Salary Differentials, to reflect the addition of the Chief Pilot Assignment Pay.
Section 2: Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make minor, non-substantive changes to the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan and any related policies, procedures or documents necessary to implement these provisions.
Section 3: The provisions of this resolution shall be operative upon adoption.
