ABSENT: Member Conder
Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
COMMUNITY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION WARDS 2 , 3, AND CITYWIDE SEATS AND PLANNING COMMISSION WARD 3 SEAT
Following discussion, it was moved by Mayor Lock Dawson and seconded Member Perry that the Mayor and City Council interview (1) Constance B. Wahlin and Janice E Bielman for the Ward 3 seat on the Community Police Review Commission; (2) Violet Gutierrez, Adam Torres, Bryan Thomas, Sharon Lassarini, Cheryl Ramano , and Gregory Hutchins for the Citywide seat on the Community Police Review Commission; and (3) Alan J. Meyer for the Ward 3 seat on the Planning Commission. The motion carried unanimously.
2022 CITY SPIRIT AWARD NOMINEE SELECTION
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Perry and seconded Member Cervantes to forward the nominations of Lalit Acharya, Residente of Eastside Active in Leadership , Michael Anderson, Duane and Kelly Roberts, Francisca Beltran, and Gabe Maldonado to the City Council for consideration of selecting a recipient of the 2022 Spirit Award. The motion carried unanimously.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE MAYOR'S NOMINATING AND SCREENING COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION There were no items requested at this time.
