CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order at 3:03 p.m. by Board Chair Cynthia Zdilor.

CONSENT CALENDAR
2. Minutes – September 28, 2022
The minutes were received and filed without corrections.
DISCUSSION CALENDAR
3. Alternate meeting date(s) for November and December 2022 scheduled meetings and, if necessary, establish an alternate meeting date(s).
A motion was made to approve:
1. Cancellation of the November 23, 2022, meeting due to the Thanksgiving holiday;
2. Cancellation of the December 28, 2022, meeting due to the winter holidays; and
3. A Special Meeting (hybrid format) at 3:00 p.m. on Mon day, December 5, 2022, in lieu of the November 23, 2022, and December 28, 2022, meetings.

Board member Monge will be absent at the special meeting due to a Monday scheduling conflict.
COMMUNICATIONS
4. Board Officer Report (Chair/ Vice-Chair) – Board Chair Zdilor thanked the Board for their advocacy and support at the October 4th Council meeting.
Vice-Chair Tennell was absent.
5. Riverside Museum Associates (RMA) - quarterly update No items were discussed.
6. Harada House Foundation (HHF) - quarterly update
The HHF is working with the Museum of Riverside, Riverside Museum Associates, and Riverside Unified School District on the re-naming of Highland Elementary in honor of Jukichi Harada.
7. Director’s Update regarding the main museum renovation, historic houses, collections, exhibitions and programs, advisory teams, volunteer and support opportunities, marketing and communications, and staffing.
Director Peterson reported that on October 4th City Council unanimously approved the main museum renovation project architectural planning to proceed and thanked Board members for their advocacy. The Harada projects are also in the works with onsite meetings with the architects and their subs. Progress has been made on the new Museum website. Museum staff have been busy with outreach and activities for a variety of events, gathering feedback from the community for the renovation project and future programming.
The report was received and filed.
8. Brief reports on conferences, seminars, and meetings attended by Museum of Riverside Board members

9. Items for future Museum of Riverside Board consideration as requested by Board members
No items were requested.
