Chair Cervantes convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m.

DISCUSSION CALENDAR
REVIEW CITY COUNCIL RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORDER OF BUSINESS RELATED TO
PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE UPDATE
Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee (1) recommended using the Roberts Rules of Order with the presiding officer serving as the Parliamentarian with guidance from the City Attorney or City Clerk; and (2) requested staff bring forth any specific language recommendations along with a corresponding resolution to the full City Council for discussion.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE INCLUSIVENESS, COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT, AND GOVERNMENTAL
PROCESSES COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION AS REQUESTED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE Councilmember Conder requested discussion at agenda conference on who can pull items from the agenda. Vice Chair Perry requested getting caught up on the revision of the meeting rules and include the formal process when continuing an item on the agenda. Chair Cervantes requested June meeting time change to 3 p.m.
