2 BACKGROUND
1. October 6, 2020 - Council authorized submittal of a
$1,000,000 grant application through the CALSTART
“Clean Mobility Voucher Pilot Program” to establish a
network of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles
2. Partnership with StratosShare and the University of
California Riverside’s Center for Environmental
Research and Technology (UCR CE-CERT).
3. Grant award was accepted by City Council on July 6,
2021.

3 • StratosShare is an established local
mobility service provider
– Operates hydrogen fuel cell vehicle share
stations in San Bernardino, Orange, and
Riverside Counties.
• Current Riverside locations:
– Riverside Municipal Airport
– University of California, Riverside
• StratosShare will manage & maintain
vehicle fleet.
