A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 21052 AND THE MASTER FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY PLAN TO APPROVE THE SALARY ADJUSTMENTS TO THE BUILDING SERVICES PROJECT MANAGER, MAINTENANCE SERVICES MANAGER, HUMAN RESOURCES CLASSIFICATIONS, AND SALARY ALIGNMENT ADJUSTMENTS FOR CONFIDENTIAL AND PARA-PROFESSIONAL CLASSIFICATIONS; CREATION OF THE NEW CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGES FOR THE SAFETY ANALYST AND ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING MANAGER; AND THE DELETION OF THE UTILITIES CUSTOMER SERVICE REP II AND CLERICAL ASSISTANT CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, on October 4, 2005, Resolution No. 21052 was adopted by the City Council thereby adopting the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan (“FBSP”); and WHEREAS, the FBSP includes the fringe benefits and salary plans for City employees; and WHEREAS, the FBSP has been amended several times to update the benefits and salaries; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the adjustments to the salary ranges to the Building Services Project Manager, Maintenance Services Manager, Human Resources classifications, and salary alignment adjustments for Confidential and Para-Professional classifications; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the creation of the new classifications and salary ranges for the Safety Analyst and Organizational Development and Training Manager; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the deletion of the Utilities Customer Service Rep II and Clerical Assistant classifications.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows:
Section 1: Resolution No. 21052 and the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan are hereby amended to 1) approve the adjustment to the salary ranges for the Building Services Project Manager, Maintenance Services Manager, Human Resources classifications, and salary alignment adjustments for Confidential and Para-Professional classifications; 2) approve the creation of the new classifications and salary ranges for the Safety Analyst and Organizational Development and Training Manager; and 3) approve the deletion of the Utilities Customer Service Rep II and Clerical Assistant classifications, all as set forth in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference Section 2: Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to ma.ke minor, non-substantive changes to the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan and any related policies, procedures or documents necessary to implement these provisions.
Section 3: The provisions of this resolution shall be operative upon adoption.
