Chair Hemenway convened the meeting at 3:01 p.m.

There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND HUMAN SERVICES
Following discussion, it was moved by Vice Chair Cervantes and seconded by Chair Hemenway to (1) receive a proposal to establish and fund the Department of Housing and Human Services; and (2) recommend staff bring forth a proposal to establish a Department of Housing and Human Services to the City Council for discussion. The motion was carried unanimously with Member Fierro absent.

There was no legislative update.
