SUBJECT: HOLIDAY MEETING SCHEDULE
ISSUE:
Cancel the Tuesday, November 21, December 26, 2023, and January 2, 2024, regular City Council meetings due to the holiday schedule.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meetings of Tuesday, November 21, December 26, 2023, and January 2, 2024.
BACKGROUND/LEGISLATIVE HISTORY:
Resolution No. 23976, adopted April 11, 2023, sets the regular meeti ng schedule of the City Council for the first four Tuesdays of the month, except for the months of July, August, and September setting the meeting sc hedule for the first and third Tuesdays of the month. In anticipation of holiday vacations and commitments, Mayor Pro Tem Edwards proposes that the City Council cancel the regular meetings of Tuesday, November 21, December 26, 2023, and January 2, 2024.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with the cancellation of the City Council meetings on Tuesday, November 21, December 26, 2023, and January 2, 2024.
