Chair Perry convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.

DISCUSSION CALENDAR
FIRST AMENDMENT TO 2018 ADVANCED LIFE SUPPORT FIRST RESPONDER AGREEMENT Following discussion, it was moved by Member Plascencia and seconded by Vice Chair Conder to (1) review and discuss the Medical Transport Franchise Application submitted by American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc.; (2) recommend the City Council consider the approval of a First Amendment to the 2018 Advanced Life Support First Responder Agreement; (3) recommend the City Council consider the adoption of a Resolution to extend the term of the franchise with American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc. for a six-month term; (4) request an update after the six-month term to consider if additional one six-month option to extend is needed; and (5) recommend that the City Council authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the First Amendment to the 2018 Advanced Life Support First Responder Agreement, including making minor and non-substantive changes including any options to extend.
The motion carried unanimously.
