SUBJECT: City of Riverside & UCR Reimbursement Agreement Update Regarding the Traffic Signal Installation at Watkins Drive and Big Springs Road
Dear Mr. Hernandez,
The University of California, Riverside (UCR) would like to offer our support of the Bid Award Recommendation for Bid No. 7992 in the amount of $602,852.00 as detailed in your letter on October 3, 2023. As stated in the Reimbursement Agreement, UCR will pay the City up to a total amount of $663,137.20, which is equal to the accepted bid plus a noted 10% contingency for construction costs.
UCR looks forward to our continued collaborative efforts with mitigating and minimizing traffic congestion around the surrounding area.
