RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
21052 AND THE MASTER FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY
PLAN TO APPROVE THE SALARY ADJUSTMENT TO THE
EXISTING COUNCIL ASSISTANT CLASSIFICATION; TITLE
CHANGE FOR THE DEPUTY CHIEF INFORMATION OFFICER
CLASSIFICATION; AND DELETION OF NON- UTILIZED JOB
CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, on October 4, 2005, Resolution No. 21052 was adopted by the City Council thereby adopting the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan (“FBSP”); and WHEREAS, the FBSP includes the fringe benefits and salary plans for City employees; and
WHEREAS, the FBSP has been amended several times to update the benefits and salaries; and
WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of th e FBSP nee ds to be revised to reflect the salary adjustment to the existing Council Assistant classification; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of th e FBSP nee ds to be revised to reflect the title change for the Deputy Chief Information Officer classification; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the deletion of non-utilized job classifications.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows:
Section 1: Resolution No. 21052 and the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan are hereby a mended to 1 ) approve the salary adjustment to the existing Council Assistant classification; 2) approve the title change for the Deputy Chief Information Officer classification; and 3) approve the deletion of non -utilized job classifications, all as set forth in Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2: Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to make minor, non-substantive changes to the Maste r Fringe Benefits and Salary P lan and any related policies, procedures, or documents necessary to implement these provisions.

Section 3: The provisions of this resolution shall be operative upon adoption.
