PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson and Members Perry and Conder ABSENT: Members Cervantes
Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 11:02 a.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS REAPPOINTMENTS AND RECRUITMENT
REAPPOINTMENTS TO HISTORIC PRESERVATION FUND COMMITTEE
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Perry and seconded Member Conder to reappoint Nanci Larsen and Rosalind M. Sagara to the Historic Preservation Fund Committee for a term ending March 1, 2026. The motion carried with Mayor Lock Dawson, Members Perry and Conder voting aye and Member Cervantes absent.
COMMUNITY POLICE REVIEW COMMISSION
Following discussion, it was moved by Mayor Lock Dawson and seconded Member Conder to interview (1) Gary A. Ringrose and Joe Vazquez for the Ward 2 seat for a term through March 1, 2025; (2) David S. Prince and Steven R. Bell for the Ward 3 seat for a term through March 1, 2028; and (3) Antonius B. Van Vegten, Heather Esparza, Mia Villeta Alvarado, and Steven J. Lee for the Ward 7 seat for a term through March 1, 2028. The motion carried with Mayor Lock Dawson, Members Perry and Conder voting aye and Member Cervantes absent.
BOARD OF ETHICS
The Mayor and City Council will interview Julie Fraser Mathews, Patricia Morgan, and Steven Lee for the Citywide seat on the Board of Ethics.
BOARD OF PUBLIC UTILITIES
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Conder and seconded Member Perry to interview Lynn Coffman, Scott Simpson, and Esther Julier for the Ward 1 seat on the Board MNSC-62
