How to pay fine: The Total Fine amount is indicated on the front of this form. You may pay by mailing a personal check, cashiers check or money order payable to the City of Riverside to the City of Riverside Citation Processing Center, P.O. Box 7275, Newport Beach, CA 92658, or on-line with a credit card at www.citationinfo.com. Please write the citation number on your check or money order. The toll free customer service number is (800) 861-7422. Payment should be made by credit card, personal check, cashier’s check or money order payable to the City of Riverside. If the citation is not paid or appealed within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance, or mailing of the citation, whichever is later, a ten percent (10%) penalty fee will be added. Payment of the fine and/or penalty shall not excuse the failure to correct the violation nor shall it bar further enforcement by the City.
You have the right to appeal the administrative citation within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of issuance, or mailing of the citation, whichever is later. An appeal must be made in writing and the appeal must be mailed to the City of Riverside Citation Processing Center, P.O. Box 7275, Newport Beach, CA 92658. The appeal will result in an administrative hearing before a hearing officer. Any person appealing an administrative citation shall deposit the amount of the fine on the administrative citation at the time of the filing of the appeal. The failure of any person to pay the fine assessed by the administrative citation within the time specified on the citation may result in a claim being filed with the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside, Small Claims Division or any other available legal remedy to collect such money. The City has the authority to collect all costs associated with the filing of such actions. Failure to properly file a written appeal within (30) calendar days shall constitute a waiver of your right to an administrative hearing and shall constitute adjudication of the administrative citation, or any portion thereof, and the total amount of the fine.
If you believe that you are financially incapable of paying the penalty amount prior to the hearing, a Hardship Waiver Request Form must be completed and approved before you can attend the hearing. Hardship Forms are available at the Code Enforcement Division located on the third floor of City Hall, 3900 Main St., Riverside, CA 92522. YOU MUST PROVIDE PROOF OF YOUR INABILTY TO PAY THE PENALTY when completing the Hardship Waiver Form. Examples of this proof include payroll stubs, verification of monthly social security benefits, bank statements and AFDC verification. This form must be completed and submitted to the City of Riverside, 3900 Main St., Riverside, CA 92522 within (10) days of the issuance of the citation.
A written determination of your Hardship Waiver Request will be sent to the address you provide on the form.

Cómo pagar la multa: El monto total de la multa se indica en el anverso de este formulario. Puede pagar enviando por correo un cheque personal, cheque de caja o giro postal pagadero a la Ciudad de Riverside al Centro de Procesamiento de Citaciones de la Ciudad de Riverside, P.O. Box 7275, Newport Beach, CA 92658,o en línea con una tarjeta de crédito en www.citationinfo.com. Escriba el número de citación en su cheque o giro postal. El número gratuito de atención al cliente es (800) 861-7422. El pago debe hacerse con tarjeta de crédito, cheque personal, cheque de caja o giro postal a nombre de City of Riverside. Si la citación no se paga o no se apela dentro de los treinta (30) días calendarios a partir de la fecha de emisión o envío por correo de la citación, cualquiera que ocurra posteriormente, se agregará una multa del diez por ciento (10%). El pago de la multa y/o sanción no excusará la falta de corrección de la infracción ni impedirá que la Ciudad haga cumplir la ley.
Tiene derecho a apelar la citación administrativa dentro de los treinta (30) días calendarios a partir de la fecha de emisión o envío por correo de la citación , cualquiera que ocurra posteriormente. La apelación debe hacerse por escrito y la apelación debe enviarse por correo al Centro de Procesamiento de Citaciones de la Ciudad de Riverside, P.O. Box 7275, Newport Beach, CA 92658. La apelación resultará en una audiencia administrativa ante un oficial de audiencia. Toda persona que apele una citación administrativa deberá depositar el monto de la multa en la citación administrativa al momento de presentar la apelación. El hecho de que cualquier persona no pague la multa impuesta por la citación administrativa dentro del tiempo especificado en la citación puede dar lugar a que se presente un reclamo ante el Tribunal Superior de California, la División de Reclamos Menores del Condado de Riverside o cualquier otro recurso legal disponible para cobrar dicho dinero. La Ciudad tiene la autoridad para cobrar todos los costos asociados con la presentación de dichas acciones. No presentar correctamente una apelación por escrito dentro de los (30) días calendario constituirá una renuncia a su derecho a una audiencia administrativa y constituirá la adjudicación de la citación administrativa, o cualquier parte de la misma, y el monto total de la multa.
Si cree que es financieramente incapaz de pagar el monto de la multa antes de la audiencia, debe completar y aprobar un Formulario de solicitud de exención por dificultades financieras antes de que pueda asistir a la audiencia. Los Formularios de Dificultades están disponibles en la División de Cumplimiento de Códigos ubicada en el tercer piso del Ayuntamiento, 3900 Main St., Riverside, CA 92522. DEBE PROPORCIONAR PRUEBAS DE SU INCAPACIDAD PARA PAGAR LA MULTA al completar el Formulario de Exención de Dificultades. Ejemplos de esta prueba incluyen talones de nómina, verificación de beneficios mensuales del seguro social, estados de cuenta bancarios y verificación de AFDC.
