Subject: Fiscal Year (FY) 2023/24 Short Range Transit Plan (SRTP) Amendment No. 1
Dear Mr. Profeta:
This letter serves as the Riverside County Transportation Commission’s (Commission) approval of your request dated September 8 , 2023, requesting the revision of the City of Riverside’s Table 4 of the FY 2023/24 SRTP.
The revision includes the following:
• Reprogram $100,383 of STA Funds from the following projects to new project 24-02:
o $1,295 from project no. 17-02, Vehicle Replacement;
o $23,866 from project no. 17-03, Electronic Fare Collection; o $45,000 from project no. 17-04, Upgrade Radio Equipment; o $956 from project no. 17-05, Vehicle Replacement Van; o $9,000 from project no. 17-06, Vehicle Replacement Sedan; o $2,769 from project no. 09-01, Dar Vehicles;
o $10,497 from project no. 21-02, Dispatch Renovation; and o $7,000 from project no. 21-03, TransTrack Upgrade.
o Projects 17-02 to 17-06, 09-01 and 21-02 and 21-03 are completed. • Reprogram $82,197 of PUC 99313 SGR funds and $3,522 of PUC 99314 SGR funds from project 20-02, CNG Sensory Replacement to Capitalized Preventative Maintenance; • Reprogram $85,719 of FTA Section 5339 funds from Capitalized Preventative Maintenance to project 24-02;
• Reprogram $64,249 of SGR funds from the following projects to new project 24-02 o $53,054 of PUC 99313 funds from project no. 21-02, Dispatch Renovation; and o $11,195 of PUC 99313 funds from project no. 20-02, CNG Sensory Replacement. o Projects 21-02 and 20-02 are completed.
• Create Project No. 24-02, with the title Bus Replacement and add the following funds:

o $100,383 of reprogrammed STA funds;
o $85,719 of reprogrammed FTA Section 5339 Funds; and
o $64,249 of reprogrammed PUC 99313 SGR Funds.
Commission policy allows for minor funding adjustments within approved operating or capital plans that result in a net zero change , or funds awarded outside of the Commission’s purview, to be deferred to staff for approval to process programming changes efficiently in the SRTP, and if necessary, to the Federal Transportation Improvement Program. Please be advised that this is with the understanding that transit operators will follow their respective internal procedures and seek their governing board’s approval, if necessary, for budgetary and/or programming adjustments.
