SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF MA RCH 5, 2024, REGULAR MEETING
ISSUE:
Cancel the Tuesday, March 5, 2024, regular Cit y Council meeting as the General Election is scheduled on the same date.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council cancel the regularly scheduled City Council meeting of Tuesday, March 5, 2024.
BACKGROUND/LEGISLATIVE HISTORY:
Resolution No. 24076, adopted January 16, 2024, sets the regular meeting schedule of the City Council for the first four Tuesdays of the month, except for the months of July, August, and September setting the meeting schedule for the firs t and third Tuesdays of the month. For the months of April, June, and October, meetings shall occur the second, third, and fourth Tuesday of the month. Mayor Pro Tem Hemenway proposes that the City Council cancel the regular meeting of Tuesday, March 5, 2024, as the General Election is scheduled on the same date.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with this report.
