Department of Housing and Urban Development Annual Action Plan to allocate $300,000 for the rehabilitation of a duplex located at 2348 University Avenue
• Substantial rehabilitation of a duplex to address health and safety issues, including the foundation, carpentry, roofing, windows, drywall, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, ADA accessibility, landscape, and fire suppression

7 That the City Council:
1. Authorize an amendment to the 2020-2021 United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Annual Action Plan to cancel the 2348 University Avenue Housing R ehabilitation Project and its allocation of $300,000;
2. Authorize a funds transfer in the amount of $300,000 within the Development Grants Fund from the 2020-2021 2348 University Avenue Housing Rehabilitation account t o the 2023-2024 Riverside Access Center Rehabilitation account;
3. Authorize an amendment to the 2023-2024 United States Department of Housing and Urban Development Annual Action Plan to reprogram $300,000 to the Riverside Access Center Rehabilitation Project;

Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Housing and Human Services Department for the 2023-2024 Riversi de Access Center Rehabilitation Project, including making minor non- substantive changes, and to sign all documents and instruments necessary to implement this action; and
5. Upon execution of the Memorandum of Understanding, authorize the supplemental appropriation of $300,000 to Grants and Restricted Programs Fund project accounts to be assigned by the Finance Division, and a supplemental appropriation in the same amount to the inter-fund account for reimbursement of CDBG-related expenditures.
