A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
21052 AND THE MASTER FRINGE BENEFITS AND SALARY
PLAN TO APPROVE THE CREATION OF THE NEW
CLASSIFICATIONS AND SALARY RANGE S FOR THE
PRINCIPAL GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS)
ANALYST AND SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
MANAGER CLASSIFICATIONS ; AND SALARY
ADJUSTMENTS TO THE EXISTING CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACTS ADMINISTRATOR, PRINCIPAL PROJECT
MANAGER, SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER , PLAN CHECK
MANAGER, ASSISTANT BUILDING OFFICIAL, AND
BUILDING OFFICIAL CLASSIFICATIONS.
WHEREAS, on October 4, 2005, Resolution No. 21052 was adopted by the City Council thereby adopting the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan (“FBSP”); and WHEREAS, the FBSP includes the fringe benefits and salary plans for City employees; and
WHEREAS, the FBSP has been amended several times to update the benefits and salaries; and
WHEREAS, the Job Code Table of the FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the creation of the new classifications and salary ranges for the Principal Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst and the Senior Construction Project Manager; and WHEREAS, the Job Code Table o f th e FBSP needs to be revised to reflect the salary adjustments to the existing Construction Contracts Administrator, Principal Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, Plan Check Manager, Assistant Building Official, and Building Official classifications.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, as follows:
Section 1: Resolution No. 21052 and the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan are hereby amended to 1) ap prove the creation of the new classification s and salary ran ges for the Principal Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Analyst and the Senior Construction Project Manager; and 2) approve the salary adjustments to the existing Construction Contracts

Administrator, Principal Project Manager, Senior Project Manager , Plan Check Manager, Assistant Building Official, and Building Official classifications, all as set forth i n Exhibit “A” attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
Section 2: Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to ma.ke minor, non-substantive changes to the Master Fringe Benefits and Salary P lan and any related policies, procedures or documents necessary to implement these provisions.
Section 3: The provisions of this resolution shall be operative upon adoption.
