Chair Perry convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
DENIAL OF VEHICLE FOR HIRE PERMIT APPLICATION - APPEAL BY MARQUISEAN DUNKINS Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Perry and seconded by Vice Chair Conder to grant the appeal of Marquisean Dunkins and instructed the Chief of Police to issue the permit. Motion carried with Chair Perry and Vice Chair Conder voting yes and Member Plascencia absent.
FIREWORKS ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITIES 2023 UPDATE
It was moved by Chair Perry and seconded by Vice Chair Conder to continue the Fireworks Enforcement Activities 2023 update to the April 17, 2024, Safety, Wellness and Youth Committee. Motion carried with Chair Perry and Vice Chair Conder voting yes and Member Plascencia absent.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
The legislative update was not held.
