1 FIRST AMENDMENT TO 2021 CALIFORNIANSFORALLYOUTH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENTPROGRAM SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT FOR FY 2022/2023 C3 INITIATIVE, INC. Youth Coding Project THIS FIRST AMENDMENT TO CALIFORNIANSFORALL YOUTH WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM SUBRECIPIENT AGREEMENT (“First Amendment”) is made and entered into this __________ day of ____________________, 2024, by and between the CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a California charter city and municipal corporation (“City”), and C3 INITIATIVE, INC,, a California non-profit corporation (“Subrecipient”), with respect to the following: RECITALS WHEREAS, the City and Subrecipient entered into that certain 2021 CaliforniansForAll Youth Workforce Development Program Subrecipient Agreement for FY 2022/2023 dated November 30, 2022 (“Agreement) in an amount not to exceed Six Hundred Thousand Seventy-Two Dollars ($600,072.00); and WHEREAS, the Agreement is currently set to expire on May 1, 2024; and WHEREAS, the City and Subrecipient have agreed to extend the term of the Agreement to September 30, 2024, and to reduce compensation by the amount of Two Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Three Dollars and Twenty Cents ($287,003.20), for a new total amount of Two Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Three Dollars and Twenty Cents ($287,003.20). NOW, THEREFORE, incorporating the recitals set out above, the parties hereto mutually agree to the following amendment to the Agreement. 1. Section 5, Term, is hereby amended to extend the term of the Agreement to September 30, 2024.2. Section 6, Subgrant, is hereby amended to decrease the grant amount by Two Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Three Dollars and Twenty Cents ($287,003.20), for a total grant amount of Two Hundred Eighty-Seven Thousand Three Dollars and Twenty Cents ($287,003.20), and to amend Exhibit “C,” Budget, by adding the updated Budget set forth in attached Exhibit “C-1,” for the additional funds. 3. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement between the parties, which are not inconsistent with the terms of this First Amendment, shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
