Chair Perry convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
MEDICAL TRANSPORT FRANCHISE AGREEMENT AND OPERATIONAL AGREEMENT WITH AMERICAN MEDICAL RESPONSE AMBULANCE SERVICE, INC.
Following discussion, it was moved by Vice Chair Conder and seconded by Member Mill to recommend the City Council (1) approve a medical transport franchise to American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc.; and (2) recommend that the City Council approve a medical transport operational agreement with American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc. The motion carried unanimously.
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
The legislative update was not held.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION
Vice Chair Conder requested an update on the medical transport services with American Medical Response Ambulance Service, Inc., within a year.
