Adoption of Ordinance introduced on May 7, 2024, to establish a 5-ton weight limit restriction on the segment of Fillmore Street from Indiana Avenue to the southerly City limits.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council adopt Ordinance Amending Section 10.56.020 of the Riverside Municipal Code, to establish a 5-ton weight limit restriction on the segment of Fillmore Street from Indiana Avenue to the southerly City limits.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:
At the regular City Council Meeting of May 7, 2024, the City Council introduced Ordinance as presented to establish a 5-ton weight limit restriction on the segment of Fillmore Street from Indiana Avenue to the southerly City limits. The ordinance is now presented to the City Council for adoption.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The total fiscal impact of this action is the cost of sign fabrication and installation is estimated to be $1,050. Funding is budgeted and available in the Measure A Fund, Traffic Signal Project, Planning/Investigations account number 9520830-440313.
