THIRD AMENDMENT TO
MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CROSSING GUARD SERVICES
ALVORD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
THIS THIRD AMENDMENT TO MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR REIMBURSEMENT OF CROSSING GUARD SERVICES ("First Amendment") is made and entered into this day of - 2024, by and between the CITY OF RIVERSIDE ("City"), a California charter city and municipal corporation, and the ALVORD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT ("District"), herein "the Parties", with respect to the following:
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on or about September 25, 2019, City and District entered into that certain Memorandum of Understanding for Reimbursement of Crossing Guard Services; and WHEREAS, on or about March 04, 2024, City and District amended the Memorandum of Understanding for Reimbursement of Crossing Guard Services to add twelve (12) additional crossing guard locations, with the District to reimburse One Hundred Percent (100%) of the costs for the additional locations to the City.
WHEREAS, on or about May 9, 2024, the City and District desire to add the Summer Session to all the crossing guard locations, with the District to reimburse One Hundred Percent (100%) of the costs for the additional locations to the City.
WHEREAS, the City and District desire to amend the Memorandum of Understanding to extend the term to June 30, 2025.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals which are incorporated herein by this reference, City and District agree as follows:
1. Section 1, Term, is amended to extend the term to June 30, 2025.
Exhibit "A" is hereby amended and replaced in its entirety with Exhibit "A-3."
3. Exhibit "B" is hereby amended and replaced in its entirety with Exhibit "B-3."
4. All other terms and conditions of the Memorandum of Understanding between the parties, which are not inconsistent with the terms of this Third Amendment, shall remain in full force and effect as if fully set forth herein.
