A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF RIVERSIDE,
2 CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
3 APPROXIMATELY 11,390 SQUARE FEET OF PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY
CONSISTING OF THE ENTIRETY OF SUNRISE PLACE, AND SETTING 4 THE DATE, HOUR AND PLACE OF HEARING, PURSUANT TO THE
PUBLIC STREETS, HIGHWAYS, AND SERVICE EASEMENTS
5 VACATION LAW.
6 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Riverside, California, as follows:
7 Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Riverside hereby declares that in Planning 8 Case No. SD-2024-00001, it is the intention of the City Council to vacate approximately 11,390 9 square feet of public right-of-way consisting of the entirety of Sunrise Place, approximately 285 feet 10 in length and 40 feet in width, within the City of Riverside, California, to accommodate a private 11 driveway for the future residence located at 2485 Sunrise Place. 12 Section 2: The City Council hereby elects and expresses its election to proceed in Planning 13 Case No. SD-2024-00001 pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 3 of the Public Streets, Highways, 14 and Service Easements Vacation Law, commencing with Section 8320 of the Streets and Highways 15 Code of the State of California.
16 Section 3: The public street proposed to be vacated in Planning Case No. SD-2024-00001, is 17 approximately 11,390 square feet of public right-of-way consisting of the entirety of Sunrise Place, 18 approximately 285 feet in length and 40 feet in width, within the City of Riverside, California, as 19 more particularly described and depicted in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and incorporated 20 by this reference.
21 Section 4: The date, hour, and place for hearing all persons interested in the proposed 22 vacation of the public street in Planning Case No. SD-2024-00001 is set as June 18, 2024, at 3:00 23 p.m. in the Art Pick Council Chambers of the Riverside City Council located adjacent to City Hall, at 3900 Main Street, Riverside, California.
24 Section 5: At the hearing provided for in Section 4 hereof, the City Council shall determine 25 whether this public street is unnecessary for present or prospective use, and if so, the reservations or 26 exceptions from the vacations that public convenience and necessity require, if any, which shall be 27 recited in the resolution of vacation as provided in Section 8341 of the Streets and Highways Code. 28 CITY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE

1 Section 6: Notices of the date, hour and place of the hearing of the proposed vacation shall 2 be posted conspicuously along the public street proposed to be vacated at least two (2) weeks before 3 the day set for the hearing. At least three (3) notices shall be posted not more than three (300) 4 hundred feet apart. The notices shall state the day, hour, and place of hearing; shall refer to the 5 adoption of this resolution of intention; and shall describe the public street proposed to be vacated. 6 Section 7: The City Clerk shall cause notice of the date, hour, and place of the hearing on 7 this resolution of intention to be published for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing in The Press Enterprise.

That certain real property located in the City of Riverside, County of Riverside, State of California, being a portion of Parcel 2 as shown on Record of Survey of a portion of the South Half of Section 36, Township 2 South, Range 5 West, S.B. & M, as shown by map on file in Book 8, Page 32 of Record of Survey, Records of Riverside County, California, described as follows:
All that portion of Sunrise Place as described in a Grant Deed to the City of Riverside recorded July 17, 1958, in Book 2303, Pages 92 and 93 of Official Records of Riverside, California.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion of the cul-de-sac in the Southwesterly end of Sunrise Place Vacated by Riverside City Council Resolution No. 9503 recorded August 23, 1962 as Instrument No. 79817 of Official Records of Riverside County, California.

Thence North 75°11' West, a distance of 58.58 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Southerly having a radius of 75.00 feet;
Thence Westerly, along said curve to the left an arc length of 62.18 feet through a central angle of 47°30'00";
Thence South 57°19'00" West, a distance of 93.78 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly having a radius of 216.60 feet;
Thence Westerly, along said curve to the right an arc length of 21.11 feet through a central angle of 5°35'00" to the most Northerly corner of said Portion Vacated by said Riverside City Council Resolution No. 9503;
