PRESENT: Mayor Lock Dawson and Members Falcone, Perry, and Conder ABSENT: None
Mayor Lock Dawson called the meeting to order at 11:01 a.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
CITY SPIRIT AWARD NOMINATION PROCESS AND CRITERIA REVIEW Following discussion, it was moved by Member Falcone and seconded Member Perry to limit City Spirit Award nominations to one person from the Mayor and City Councilmembers. The motion carried unanimously.
Following further discussion, it was moved by Member Falcone and seconded Mayor Lock Dawson to limit City Spirit Award nominations to only City of Riverside residents. The motion carried with Mayor Lock Dawson and Members Falcone and Perry voting aye and Member Conder voting no.
COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS TO CONSIDER ESTABLISHMENT
OF RULES OF PROCEDURE AND ORDER OF BUSINESS
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Perry and seconded Member Conder to refer to the Governmental Processes Committee a comprehensive review of the boards and commissions and establish Rules of Procedure and Order of Business resolution for boards and commissions. The motion carried with Mayor Lock Dawson, Members Conder and Perry voting aye and Member Falcone voting no.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE MAYOR'S NOMINATING AND SCREENING COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION There were no items requested at this time.
