Chair Robillard convened the meeting at 3:15 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATION FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
FISCAL YEAR 2024/25 CITY SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM AND TABLE SPONSORSHIP UPDATE Following discussion, it was moved by Member Hemenway and seconded by Chair Robillard to (1) receive and approve staff recommendations for the for the City Sponsorship Program for the six month period of January 1-June 30, 2025; and (2) recommend that City council approve City Sponsorship support in the form of monetary funding and/or in-kind contributions of $229,099 for charitable and community events, which are produced by local non-profit organizations; and (3) receive and order filed Table Sponsorship report for January 1 - June 30, 2024; and (4) authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to make non-substantive changes to the recommendations. The motion carried with Vice Chair Cervantes absent.
COMMUNICATIONS
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
There was no Legislative update received by the Committee.
ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY UPDATE
The Committee received an update on Economic Opportunity.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION
Chair Robillard requested an update on current City branding efforts and OneStop Shop initiatives.
