1 ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING THE LEVEL OF COMPENSATION FOR THE
MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND PROVIDING
CERTAIN FRINGE BENEFITS, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 7627 IN ITS ENTIRETY.
The City Council of the City of Riverside, California, does ordain as follows:
Section 1: Effective 30 days after adoption of this ordinance, and beginning with the first pay period thereafter, each member of the City Council shall receive compensation of Three Thousand Eight Hundred Ten Dollars and Forty-Five Cents ($3,810.45)Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Eleven Dollars ($3,811) per month and the Mayor Pro Tem shall receive compensation of Three Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-Six Dollars ($3,926) per month. Said compensation shall be payable at the same time and manner as compensation of other officers and employees of the City.
Section 2: Each member of the City Council and the Mayor Pro Tem shall receive those fringe benefits as are currently available pursuant to the City’s Fringe Benefits and Salary Plan with an increase to the automobile allowance from Three Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($350) to Five Hundred Dollars ($500).
Section 3: Ordinance No. 7627 is hereby repealed.
Section 4: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and cause publication once in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Section 414 of the Charter of the City of Riverside.
Section 5: This ordinance shall become effective on the 30th day after the date of its adoption.
