FIRST AMENDMENT TO
WATER PRODUCTION, CONVEYANCE, AND RECIPROCAL SALES AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF RIVERSIDE AND THE REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY
OF CALIFORNIA
This FIRST AMENDMENT TO WATER PRODUCTION, CONVEYANCE, AND RECIPROCAL SALES AGREEMENT ("First Amendment") is made and entered into this day of _ 2025, by and between the CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a California charter city and municipal corporation ("City"), and the REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA, a California public corporation ("Regents"), with reference to the following facts:
RECITALS
WHEREAS, on June 1, 2015, the City and the Regents entered into that certain Water Production, Conveyance, and Reciprocal Sales Agreement ("Agreement"); and WHEREAS, the Agreement is set to expire on June 1, 2025; and WHEREAS, the City and the Regents desire to extend the term of the Agreement by one (1) year to June 1, 2026.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals, which are incorporated herein by this reference, the City and the Regents mutually agree as follows:
1. Section 5.2.1 of the Agreement is hereby amended and replaced in its entirety as follows:
"5.2.1 Eleven (11) years from the effective date of this Agreement, as specified in Section 5.1."
All terms and conditions of the Agreement not inconsistent herewith shall remain in full force and effect and are hereby incorporated by reference into this First Amendment as though set forth in full herein.
