RECOMMENDATIONSThat the City Council:1. Approve the Landscape Maintenance Services Agreement for Sports Parks with MerchantsLandscape Services, Inc. of Santa Ana, California, in the amount of $4,626,000 for theperiod of August 1, 2025, through June 30, 2028, with the option to extend for oneadditional two-year term;2. Approve an additional $345,000 for irrigation repairs, vandalism and graffiti removal costs;3. Authorize 5% change order authority on the base contract price in the amount of $231,300for the initial contract term; and4. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to execute the Agreement for LandscapeMaintenance Services in Sports Parks with Merchants Landscape Services, Inc., includingmaking minor and non-substantive changes.
