Dear Councilmembers, Staff,
Thank you for the opportunity to provide comment on the Industrial Development Regulations. I support Option 2 – the Planning Commission Recommendation passed 8-0 in February 2025.

It is disappointing that the Council continues to delay bringing this to a vote. In May of this year, the Council motioned to ‘Take Action’ in August. There were no changes to state legislation over the past 4 months that have had any substantive impact on our potential Industrial Development regulations.

And it is disheartening to see proposed changes that exclude manufacturing and other land uses from the proposal without consultation with community stakeholders or the Planning Commission.

Please pledge to put this to a vote this year.
