SUBJECT: BOARD AND COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
ISSUES:
Appoint Kathleen Fanning to the Board of Ethics Ward 4 seat and Marion H. Cronin to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
That the Mayor and City Council:
Appoint Kathleen Fanning to the Board of Ethics Ward 4 seat for a term through March 1, 2027; and Appoint Marion H. Cronin to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2029.
BACKGROUND:
Riverside City Charter Section 802 provides that each board and commission have one representative from each Council Ward.
Pursuant to Resolution 24255, Section XIV (A), Councilmember Conder recommends that the Mayor and City Council appoint Kathleen Fanning to the Board of Ethics Ward 4 seat for a term through March 1, 2027.
Councilmember Mill recommends that the Mayor and City Council appoint Marion H. Cronin to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2029.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Recruitment and appointment costs are included annually in the City Clerk’s budget.
