Chair Conder convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.
ORAL COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE AUDIENCE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
PROPOSED PERSONAL DELIVERY DEVICE PERMIT PILOT PROGRAM
Following discussion, it was moved by Member Perry and seconded by Vice Chair Hemenway to (1) provide feedback on a potential personal delivery device on-street pilot program to include staff speak to the state of Arizona regarding the program, request that the program expand beyond the downtown area; and (2) forward this item to the City Council and return to the Committee within 6 months for an update. Two people spoke regarding the matter. The motion carried unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
There was no Legislative update received.
PROJECT UPDATES
The Committee received updates regarding (1) Citywide Safe Route to School Plans; (2) Every Kid Deserves a Bike program receiving more funding and expanding to Alvold Unified School District; (3) hosting a Citywide art contest; and (4) a solid waste update.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION
There were no items requested by the Committee at this time.
