Chair Perry convened the meeting at 1:00 p.m.

There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
SHOPPING CART PILOT PROGRAM - ABANDONED SHOPPING CART RETRIEVAL UPDATE The Committee received a report on the abandoned shopping cart retrieval pilot program. No one spoke on the matter.
Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Perry and seconded by Vice Chair Conder to (1) receive and ordered filed the results of the Shopping Cart Pilot Program and the status of abandoned shopping carts citywide; and (2) direct staff to continue the Abandoned Shopping Cart Retrieval Program enforcement sweeps in collaboration with the Riverside Police Department and the Public Safety Engagement Team (PSET). The motion carried unanimously.

There was no legislative update.
