SUBJECT: CANCELLATION OF JUNE 2, 2026, REGULAR MEETING
ISSUE:
The City Council's regular meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 2, 2026, conflicts with the General Municipal Election occurring on the same date.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the City Council:
1. Direct staff to cancel the regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2026.
DISCUSSION:
Per the City Council Rules of Procedure and Order of Business (Resolution No. 24318 adopted October 24, 2025), regular City Council meetings are held on the first four Tuesdays of each month, except July and August, when meetings occur on the second and fourth Tuesdays.
Given that the General Municipal Election is scheduled for June 2, 2026, Mayor Pro Tem Steven Robillard recommends canceling the regular meeting.
FISCAL IMPACT:
There is no fiscal impact associated with canceling the June 2, 2026, City Council meeting.
