STAFF PRESENT: Gil Hernandez, Tarren Torres, and Nancy Crunk Chair Mill convened the meeting at 9:00 a.m.
PUBLIC COMMENT IN PERSON/TELEPHONE
There was no one wishing to address the Committee.
CONSIDER ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT CHAIN LINK FENCING IN HISTORIC DISTRICTS,
NEIGHBORHOOD CONSERVATION AREAS, LANDMARKS AND STRUCTURES OF MERIT Following discussion, it was moved by Chair Mill and seconded by Vice Chair Falcone to recommend that the City Council consider an ordinance amending Title 19 (Zoning) of the Riverside Municipal Code to prohibit the installation and replacement of chain link fences in or near all Historic Districts, Neighborhood Conservation Areas, Landmarks and Structures of Merit; and (2) forward to the Cultural Heritage Board and Planning Commission for further discussion. The motion carried unanimously.
