SUBJECT: BOARD AND COMMISSION APPOINTMENTS
ISSUES:
Appoint Heidi Miceli Davies to the Airport Commission Ward 4 seat, Paula May Horychuk to the Museum of Riverside Board Ward 5 seat, and Julie Frazier-Mathews to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
That the Mayor and City Council appoint:
Heidi Miceli Davies to the Airport Commission Ward 4 seat for a term through March 1, 2030; Paula May Horychuk to the Museum of Riverside Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2030; and Julie Frazier-Mathews to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2029.
BACKGROUND:
Riverside City Charter Section 802 provides that each board and commission have one representative from each Council Ward.
Pursuant to Resolution 24365, Section XIV (A), Councilmember Conder recommends that the Mayor and City Council appoint Heidi Miceli Davies to the Airport Commission Ward 4 seat for a term through March 1, 2030.
Councilmember Mill recommends that the Mayor and City Council appoint Paula May Horychuk to the Museum of Riverside Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2030, and Julie Frazier-Mathews to the Human Resources Board Ward 5 seat for a term through March 1, 2029.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Recruitment and appointment costs are included annually in the City Clerk’s budget.
