Chair Cervantes convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m.

Dan Hoxworth spoke regarding the Regional Housing Needs Assessment.
DISCUSSION CALENDAR
HOUSING AUTHORITY'S PROJECTS UPDATE
Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee received and ordered the updates on the Housing Authority's projects.
HOMELESSNESS ACTION PLAN
Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee received and ordered the Housing Action Plan update and directed staff to return back to Committee with updates to include community engagement and housing for the deaf and seniors.
COMMUNICATIONS
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
The Committee received an update on (1) proposed Budget outline which included $500 million for Housing, Homeless Assistance Program (HHAP) Round 7 and $1 billion each for Round 8, homeownership programs, and affordable housing programs; and (2) the two housing bond bills, Senate Bill 417 and Assembly Bill 736.
ITEMS FOR FUTURE HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION AS
REQUESTED BY MEMBERS OF THE COMMITTEE
Councilmember Cervantes requested report from the Riverside County Continuum of Care (CoC) to share information on various resources working throughout the region including how many individual being served, current investments, the number of affordable housing units, and the number of permanent supportive housing units.
