RECOMMENDATIONSThat the City Council:1. Reject the bid submitted by Ortco of Orange, California asnon-responsive;2. Award Bid No. 8246 to R. E. Schultz Construction, Inc. ofOrange, California, for the installation of playgroundequipment and the purchase and installation of rubbersurfacing for the Riverwalk Park playground, for a totalamount of $139,417; and3. Authorize the City Manager, or designee, to executepurchase orders, agreements, and other documents,including making minor and non-substantive changes. 3 4
