•$70.00 per tow fee pays for (1) tow-related officer responses, (2) officer time at the scene, (3) salary and total benefits package of the Tow Coordinator, and (4) Tow Coordinator’s functions.•Technically, City Council can vote to reduce the $70.00 per tow fee. •However, doing so would mean the City would have to subsidize RPD’s tow-related functions with money from General Fund. That the Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee:1. Receive the following report and presentation providing an update to the Safety, Wellness, and Youth Committee regarding the $70.00 per tow fee in question; and 2.
