SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES BRIGHTVIEW LANDSCAPE SERVICES, INC.LANDSCAPE AND GENERAL OUTSIDE MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR THE DOWNTOWN AREA This SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE SERVICES (“Second Amendment”) is made and entered into this _____ day of _______________, _____, by and between the CITY OF RIVERSIDE, a California charter city and municipal corporation (“City”), and BRIGHTVIEW LANDSCAPE SERVICES, INC., a California corporation (“Contractor”), with reference to the following facts:RECITALS WHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into that certain Agreement for Landscape Maintenance Services, dated July 1, 2022 (“Agreement”); andWHEREAS, City and Contractor entered into that certain First Amendment to Agreement for Landscape Maintenance Services, dated November 6, 2026 (“First Amendment”); and WHEREAS, the Agreement is set to expire on June 30, 2026; and WHEREAS, City and Contractor desire to extend the Term of the Agreement for one (1) additional year, from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; and WHEREAS, City and Contractor desire to increase the Contract Price for the extended Term in the amount of One Hundred Seventy-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-One Dollars and Seventy-Six Cents ($179,221.76), for a total Contract Price of Nine Hundred Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Eighty-Nine Cents ($945,261.89). NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing recitals, which are incorporated herein by this reference, City and Contractor mutually agree as follows: 1. Section 1, “Term”, is hereby extended for a one (1) year period beginning July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027. 2. Exhibit “A”, “Compensation Schedule”, is hereby amended to include Exhibit “A-2”, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. 3. Section 3, “Compensation”, is hereby amended to increase the Contract Price for the extended Term in the amount of One Hundred Seventy-Nine Thousand Two Hundred Twenty-One Dollars and Seventy-Six Cents ($179,221.76), for a total Contract Price of Nine Hundred 2 Forty-Five Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-One Dollars and Eighty-Nine Cents ($945,261.89).4.
