PRESENT: Chair Hernandez, Vice Chair Mill and Member Cervantes STAFF PRESENT: Michelle Davis, Agripina Neubauer, Megan Stoye, Matthew Taylor, Sean Murphy, Ruby Castillo, Miranda Evans, Altie Holcomb, Bill Kester, Damian Fussell, Socorro Gomez (virtual), and Nancy Crunk OTHERS PRESENT: Dan Hoxworth, Sidney Stone, Brian Corbell and others Chair Hernandez convened the meeting at 3:30 p.m.

DISCUSSION CALENDAR
PROPOSED ACQUISITION AND CONVERSION OF MOTEL 6 AND DAYS INN Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee received and ordered filed the report on the proposed acquisition and conversion of the Motel 6 and Days Inn into approximately 148 senior housing units as proposed by Allied Argenta, LLC., and provided input regarding the continued coordination of project.
CALIFORNIA HOUSING LEGISLATIVE 2025-2026 UPDATE
Following discussion and without formal motion, the Committee (1) received and ordered filed the report on the California Legislature 2025-26 Housing Bills; and (2) directed staff to return to the Housing and Homelessness Committee for further discussion on Accessory Dwelling Units associated with Senate Bill 1123 subdivisions and special rules for remainder lots related to Senate Bill 1123.
CALIFORNIA PROHOUSING DESIGNATION PROGRAM REAPPLICATION Following discussion, it was moved by Member Cervantes and seconded by Vice Chair Mill to (1) receive and order file the update on the Prohousing Designation Program; and (2) directed staff to reapply for the California Department of Housing and Community Development Prohousing Designation Program for January 2027. One person spoke on the matter. The motion carried unanimously.

Vice Chair Mill requested report on Inclusionary Housing and Zoning. Chair Hernandez requested a report on Mobile Home Rent Stabilization.
