Good evening!
The Local Government Programs team and Fiscal & Grants Coordinator at OHP are excited to share that we are finally able to move forward with the 2025 non-competitive pass through CLG grants! OHP will be granting $10,500 to support your community's historic preservation program.

The grant period will run from August 1, 2026, through July 31, 2027, and can be spent on small projects or for other expenses directly associated with your preservation program.

You will be required to submit one narrative progress report on, or before, Friday, February 5, 2027, sharing how the already spent grant funds have been utilized and how the CLG intends to spend any remaining grant funds.

So, what's next? Our Fiscal & Grants Coordinator, Daniel Arismendi will begin preparing the 2025 CLG grant agreement right away and has asked for the following to ensure the process moves forward smoothly:

If your office has not previously had a grant agreement with OHP, please download the attached forms and fill them out as thoroughly as possible and return them to us ASAP.

Please identify the primary contact for this grant and provide their contact information.

Provide any updated organizational information, including mailing address, staff changes, or administrative details relevant to the administering of this grant.

Respond directly to Daniel for all follow-up grant agreement related communication, questions, and document submissions. Daniel can be reached at: (916) 503-4960 or [email protected] .

Now that we have the approval to proceed with these grants our goal is to get the agreements in place as quickly as possible! Timely responses to the requests above will help ensure that your grant can be assembled and processed without any further delays.

We look forward to learning how the 2025 CLG grant funds helped support your historic preservation program! Don't hesitate to reach out to me or Daniel with any questions about this grant.

All the best,
Shannon
