June 15, 2026 Mr. Kurtis Sharp Project Manager City of Riverside 8095 Lincoln Avenue Riverside, CA 92504 Re: Museum of Riverside Phase II: Construction Administration Phase, Time Extension Dear Kurtis Per the first amendment to our contract, dated 11/4/2022, Perkins Eastman agreed with the City to allocate 20-months for the Construction Administration phase of the project. The Construction Administration (CA) phase immediately follows the Bid/Permit phase of the project, which ended 4/8/25 when City Council awarded the bid for the project to BN Builders. Our CA phase began when the Pre-Construction Meeting took place 5/72025. Immediately following, starting 5/15/2025, weekly OAC meetings as well as regular coordination with BN Builders began. These meetings and coordination have continued without pause. This is supported by our billing for the which began in May of 2025 for our CA phase services. The baseline schedule, prepared by BN Builders and dated 5/15/25, noted an 18.5-month construction period for a completion date of March 30, 2027. The construction completion date of 9/14/2027. This is an additional increase of 5.5-months (March through mid-September 2027) from the original construction completion date, and 8.5-months (January through mid-September 2027) months of construction duration that was not accounted for in the original proposal for our CA services. That proposal allocated for one full-time employee (Melissa Boudreau) with oversight from the Principal in Charge (Stephanie Kingsnorth) for the 20-month duration. Based on this updated Construction schedule, the City requested the schedule for Perkins Eastmans CA phase be extended through the end of September, for a total of 9-months of additional time In order to properly serve the project, Melissa Boudreau will need to remain almost full time (32 hrs/week for 40-weeks) along with a few hours of my time (4 hrs/month for 9-months) to provide appropriate support and oversight for construction administration. Fee: The proposed lump sum fee for the aforementioned work as follows: Perkins Eastman S. Kingsnorth (4 hours/month x 9 months = 36 hrs @ $420/hour) $ 15,120.00 M. Boudreau (32 hours/week x 40 weeks = 1,280 hrs @ $142/hour) $ 181,760.00 _________________________________________________________________________________ Total $ 196,880.00 Should you have any questions about this add service request, please let me know.
