DISCUSSION CALENDAR
LINDEN STREET RESTRIPING PILOT PROJECT
Following discussion, it was moved by Vice Chair Hemenway and seconded by Chair Conder that the Mobility and Infrastructure Committee direct staff to conduct community engagement for a potential three-year pilot project that would temporarily convert Linden Street between Chicago Avenue and lowa Avenue from a four-lane roadway to a two-lane roadway with a striped two-way left-turn lane median and buffered bike lanes and bring findings and recommendations to the City Council. The motion carried unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS
LEGISLATIVE UPDATE
Public Works Director, Nathan Mustafa provided the Committee with an update regarding a recently attended Santa Ana Regional Water Quality Board meeting regarding stormwater permits, requirements and regulations.
PROJECT UPDATES
Public Works Director, Nathan Mustafa provided the Committee with the following updates: (1) Downtown Civil Rights Walk Project; (2) upcoming Bulky Drop-Off event at Corp Yard; and (3) upcoming Keep Riverside Clean and Beautiful event at Arlington Sports Park.
