ISSUE:
File the resignation of Carlos Trigueros from the Airport Commission Ward 5 seat.
RECOMMENDATION:
That the Mayor and City Council file the resignation of Carlos Trigueros from the Airport Commission Ward 5 seat.
BACKGROUND:
Riverside City Charter Section 802 provides that each board and commission have one representative from each Council Ward.
On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the City Clerk’s Office received a resignation from Carlos Trigueros who held the Ward 5 seat on the Airport Commission for a term expiring on March 1, 2029.
FISCAL IMPACT:
Recruitment and appointment costs are included annually in the City Clerk’s budget.
