Rocklin Public Market - Goals
Bring an essence of community to Downtown Rocklin
Create a hub where people can eat, drink, play and gather Create synergy with existing City projects (Adventure Park + Amphitheater)
Create a blend of mixed-use spaces that cater to the diverse needs and desires of Rocklin’s residents and visitors
Who we are
G3 Concepts is a real estate development
company that focuses on commercial, mixed
use and multi-family projects. G3 is also part of
a larger family office group that includes a
homebuilding company (Riverland Homes).
Two projects demonstrate that we are
uniquely qualified to develop and operate the
type and quality of project the City of Rocklin
is seeking – featuring Quarry District history
and architecture and extensive interactive
elements and space.
Who we are
G3 entitled, developed and operates the
San Luis Obispo Public Market
(slopublicmarket.com) – with a concept
strikingly similar to the one Rocklin is
seeking – featuring the history and
architecture of Bonetti Ranch.
Riverland Homes successfully re-
envisioned and developed Village By The
Ponds, an attached townhome project in
the Quarry District, including community
outreach and support. The executive who
led that effort is also a key member of our
development team.
SLO Public Market
Commercial mixed-use development - bringing the
best of the Central Coast to Market
Businesses including wine + cheese, dining (fast
casual + formal), brewery, distillery, historic
rehabilitations, fitness, coffee and dance studio.
Common area amentities such as live music, a
truck stage, kid’s play area, public art, Tenant
operated gardens and covered and uncovered
patios
54 townhomes and 11 single family
residences
Under previous ownership, the project was
the subject of 2005 entitlements, not
consistent with Quarry District architectural
guidelines and not economically feasible,
and proposed new entitlements vigorously
opposed by neighbors.
Riverland “re-envisioned” the project and
proposed changes to address neighbor
and City staff concerns
Village by the
Ponds
The changes included re-design of the
townhomes to utilize Quarry District
Architectural Guidelines and extension of
the public walking trail around the two
quarry ponds on the property.
The changes were approved with
community support, and the last homes
were delivered to homeowners in
September 2021.
